To all our Bowes Railway Museum volunteers — a big thank you!

During National Volunteer Week, we want to recognise the remarkable skills, dedication, and care our volunteers bring to the museum throughout the year. Whether you’re tending the grounds and gardens, keeping the site looking its best; manufacturing items in the engineering and joinery workshops, carrying out maintenance tasks; welcoming visitors and leading guided tours; preserving our heritage by caring for and restoring artefacts; or supporting the museum in countless other ways - your contribution makes a positive difference.
