Join us this Thursday for the opening of ‘Hieros Gamos’, an Exhibition of Visual Art and Sound Alchemy by Maria Baldwyn.

Enthused and inspired by the space that is Studio 18 the new creations that have unveiled here are majestic and humbling to transmit.

This body of work explores frequency as the underlying language of the universe—a conversation where ancient mysticism meets the mundane and fires the evolutionary.
Maria’s work has its roots in the essence of Awen—the romance, the poetry, the magic, and the essential life force that hums and weaves through all things.

Within this gallery, sound becomes sculpture, atmosphere, and living art. Step in, enliven, receive, and journey through the waking and dream landscapes of tone and frequency.

Join us at Studio 18 this Friday for some alternative prog indie rock, and a bit of techno too 😎

Shinwell are an emerging prog indie rock band with a wide influence from different genres such as math rock and metal. With their up coming debut EP features wide ranges of musical experimentation while appealing to the wider audience. With support from Welterwait - an Alternative Rock band influenced by bands like Sonic Youth, Dinosaur jr and Pixies - and from DJ Acid Bloom - a dj who lives for techno and enjoys intergrating bassy, wacky, happy sounds from all other genres into her sets.
