I’ve always been envious of artists who can fill sketchbooks with ease and confidence. The blank pages always seemed to scare me much more than a sheet of blank paper or a canvas. I was always so inhibited of making a mistake and ruining the book, ending up with endless sketchbooks with just a few pages of completion.

So, I’m working out of my comfort zone and aiming to try and experiment more and work a little everyday in what I’m going to call a journal, maybe the change of name will help me be less precious about each page! 📄 So here goes……….

My ‘Museum laid bear’ is now in his rightful place. He is part of the Big bears adventure trail to support raise money for YMCA Tayside. This is a video from my studio after the final coat of varnish was applied.
