J D Fergusson was a prolific artist and an associated member of the Scottish Colourist group. In 2010 the Fergusson collection was joined by that of his lifelong companion, Margaret Morris (1891-1980), gifted by the International Association of Margaret Morris Movement. We also collect the work of artists related to Fergusson, such as members of the New Scottish Group, which was formed by Fergusson in Glasgow in 1943.
