A few years back we had a rather famous person come into the Gallery to choose one of our canvases. He was lovely and came back to collect his picture himself. Which image did he choose? We show you in our latest vlog. Recorded before Sharon broke a metatarsal ;)

The Blood Moon partial Lunar Eclipse taken at 5.12 am - just a few hours ago. This is a shot that was meant to be, no alarm set, no self inflicted pressure to go out and take it. Steve woke up at 4.11 am and headed out to the Needles. An enjoyable photo session when it could easily have been a stressful one :)

You've certainly been setting us challenges over this past week or so. Several very unusual requests that we've managed to fulfil. We have thousands of images that Steve has taken because of his love of photography, and not necessarily for the Gallery.
We have been asked for the red shepherd's hut at Grammar's Common, Chillerton Mast, pink thrift at Newtown and Osborne beach. After a bit of searching in the archives we found something suitable. Feel free to ask, you just never know, we might have it 😊

A bespoke size canvas of Colwell Bay. The customer needed a particular size to fit on their wall space. Wider than our usual panoramic format and of an image that is in our standard format. Steve managed to crop it to fit, without cutting the moon off in it's prime 😉😎

This is a "new" shot of the heather on Headon Warren (NT) with the Needles in the distance. It wasn't taken this year, but recently found in the to do pile. We have been up there since the horrendous fire and fortunately this view point has survived unscathed - just.

The joys of being self employed, no time off sick for us! Sharon managed to break bits of her foot on Monday night 🤕 so she's hopping along back at the Gallery. Good thing she can sit down all day 😊

Currently enjoying a belated birthday lunch at Rylstone Tea Gardens & Crazy Golf as well as restocking our Craft Cabin while we're here 🎂

Just home after a successful day at the Garlic Festival. 3 weeks ago today we were out and about for a Sunday stroll. St Catherine's Lighthouse is a favourite spot for us and the weather was glorious too 🙂
