We are seeking to appoint new Trustees to join the board of our museum.
As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of the museum. The board is responsible for ensuring strong governance, setting the strategic direction, and safeguarding the organisation’s financial sustainability and charitable objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing strategic oversight and contributing to long-term planning
Ensuring the museum operates in line with its charitable aims and legal obligations
Supporting financial stewardship and sustainability
Acting as an advocate for the museum within the community
Contributing your skills and experience to board discussions and decision-making
We welcome applications from individuals with a passion for heritage, culture, and community engagement. We are particularly interested in people who can bring skills in areas such as finance, fundraising, marketing, education, or governance, although this is not essential.
Trustees are expected to attend regular board meetings and contribute actively to the work of the organisation.
If you are interested in helping to guide and support the museum’s future, we would be delighted to hear from you.
