Open 11-4 each day except Monday / Tuesday Welcome to the award winning museum set into an original Victorian dry dock we tell the fascinating story of Barrow: Victorian boom town and twentieth century centre of innovation. There is so much to do. See our stunning ship models, WWII shelter, temporary exhibitions and film show. Top off the day with a v

isit to our cafe (home made cakes recommended!) brand new gift shop, children’s playground or walk along our coastal paths. We have a vibrant exhibition and events programme so there is always something new to see and do.

If you are a local artist and would like to use the museum pod space in the future to exhibit your work, please contact the museum, we are looking forward to Cathy Holmes - Lakeland Artist exhibition, look out for dates when she will be artist in resident and you can come along and meet her.

Really excited about my solo art project exhibition at the Dock Museum Barrow. I will hopefully be there every Saturday as artist in residence so please pop in for a chat and see my work
