1994 Graduated from the Pottery Wheel Course at the Ibaraki Prefecture Ceramic Technology School.
1995 Studied under ceramic artist Kouji Arai.
1998 Established her own studio in Tokyo.
2003 Moved her studio to Tachikawa and opened a ceramics school.

2004 Graduated from Ceramic Arts course, Faculty of Literature, Arts and Cultural Studies, the Kinki University.
2004-2006 Taught at Kobe Municipal Elementray School.
2007 Participated in Japan’s Cotemporary Arts and Crafts Exhibition.
2007-2008 Moved to Kawasaki City, Kanagawa.
2009 Moved to Motegi, Tochigi.
2011 Moved his studio to Mashiko-cho, Tochigi.

1979 Born in Shizuoka, Japan.
Training After graduating with an MA at Okinawa Prefectural University of the Arts, he learned slip casting from the aspect of creation/origination when he was an assistant to the potter Shigekazu Nagae.
2008 Started his own production in Toyota city and Seto city, Aichi.
2010 Awarded the Grand Prix at the Yokkaichi Pottery Competition.

Yumiko Iihoshi makes two series of porcelain works.
In ‘Hand Works’ she uses the potter’s wheel herself.
In ‘Products’ she asks pottery makers from each region of Japan to follow faithfully her precise instructions for the shape and colour of the pieces. She attaches a great importance in creating her own mould and glaze recipe. The result is a product that retains the essence of craft work.
Her pieces are available internationally.

2009 Started his career in pottery.
2012 Opened his own gallery and cafe 'BONOHO' in Okinawa.

Koutaro Ikura ‘Hotarude’ celadon-white porcelain sake cup✨
⁡
Ikura’s pieces possess a delicate, beautiful, and deeply elegant translucency. This is achieved through the ‘Hotarude’ technique, where openwork carving is applied to the bisque ware, allowing light to filter through the glaze that fills the piercings.
