Deadstock uniform set dated 1942 designed by alpinists and climbers sourced by the US ARMY during the conflict. Talon zippers, water resistant fabric and cotton back pack detail to store ammunition and belongings. You see these used by climbers post WW2 even in the 70s, climber Fred Beckey is seen wearing one post war online.

The Clinch Cultivate Chukka draws inspiration from a rare pair of original 1941 CC41 British Utility Boots, owned by London-based vintage dealer and collector 19UJ Militaria. Using this historic reference as a foundation, Clinch reinterprets the design through its signature approach to craftsmanship and construction.

The Clinch Cultivate Chukka will be available exclusively in-store from Saturday, 6 June. Any remaining sizes will be released online at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, 7 June.
As with many Clinch releases, production is strictly limited. Given the brand’s reputation and the rarity of this model, we do not expect pairs to remain available for long.
