Scenes from the studio 📸

Following her success at Ceramic Art London earlier this month, we joined Loraine Rutt in her wonderful ceramics studio! 

Loraine demonstrated how she works with the porcelain clay, the way her globes are developed and constructed, and how she finishes each piece with delicate details and a range of different paints and glazes 🌏🌖

The sunny weather is truly putting a pep in our step, and Steven Marshall’s new pieces are perfect for the transition into summer! ☀️

Painted directly onto layers of perspex, the figures in Steven’s works create their own shadows, which shift and multiply with the changing summer light.

Available now on our website! ✨

’Welcome to the Notswolds’ is a new piece from Adam Dant, commissioned by the Notswolds project, as a celebration of the landscape and history of the six counties that make up the region; Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire,Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire!

The map features the different historical sites and notable figures associated with the area, including Lady Jane Grey, Isaac Newton, and Robin Hood. Characters from folk tale and local myths, such as Bel the Giant, Hairy Jack, and Gallery Brown, can also be spotted among the country houses and rolling green landscapes, capturing the character of the region within one piece 🌱🌿
