Bolton Steam Museum

If you find yourself in Lancashire we highly recommend a visit to the marvellous Bolton Steam Museum. It is entirely run by enthusiastic volunteers who have restored a huge collection of engines to their former glory. This engine is running on electricity but there a few days throughout the year when you can see the machines run on steam.

We have just received a copy of the magazine from the
@HEWING_WITTARE @E17ArtTrail project, which contains a collection of wonderfully varied stories about the Stow and its residents. We contributed some anecdotes about John Fieldhouse, one of the Edwardian engineers at Walthamstow Pumphouse, so it's great to see them in print. Let's hope this exhibition gets the future life it deserves.
