You’ll find Makers Gallery and other independent shops, galleries and Cafe in Chapel Yard next door to Albert Street Car Park (so you haven’t even got to walk far in the wind and rain)!!

This week saw the start of Holt Christmas Lights! It’s been a corker too for with some wonderful sales, commissions and some very promising leads too!
We’re super grateful to all who popped in, purchased, complimented and enjoyed Mr MGH’s exhibition! It’s our last one in our gallery before Christmas but he will be popping up 11 - 17 December so catch him there or give him a follow to see his exhibition!

From now through to Christmas the town is a magical place to visit the Christmas lights!
Don’t forget to visit the Makers Gallery in Chapel Yard Holt, along with some other lovely independent shops, galleries and cafe. It’s a delightful little corner of Holt (and with parking in Albert street car park 🅿️ right next door, what more could you ask for!)
This weekend visit Art by Frithy in the gallery with a wonderful variety of original and affordable artwork to adorn your walls 🙏🏼

The gallery will be closed in January (well Mr MGH will pop up in between freshening up the space ready for a promisingly busy 2025!).

But as North Norfolk starts coming out of hibernation in February, what better month to get yourself a month long residency for a discounted price.

This would be ideal if you’re running workshops or launching a new product and want a shop front in beautiful Holt, North Norfolk!

Maybe you could collaborate with some fellow artisans to share the space and get 2025 off to a fabulous start🤩

We all love a good news story! And these lovely ladies are the epitome of a hard working week - raising £800 for Alzheimer’s & Spinal Injury Reserach. And this is what they said:

“We had an amazing time at The Makers Gallery last week. A shaky first 24 hours and then we got into our stride!
The tombola definitely worked especially when it was outside in the sunshine. We took 240 prizes and came back with just a handful . The shop looked great and we sold well over half our stock so for our first time as pretend shop keepers we did really well.
We raised close to £800 for Alzheimer’s Research and Spinal injury Research so are very pleased with that.
Hopefully we will be back one day”
