Join us for a family woodland adventure.

We have a wonderful nature expert coming to tell us about tree identification and bug searching, followed by nature clay pressing - it could get messy!

Saturday 17th October 11am - 1:30pm

On our woodland walk we will collect leaves, seed heads, ferns and cones, to bring back and get creative making your own keepsake to take home.

There will be a time for a snack and a drink around the fire.

Would you like to step back in time?

Come down to Becconsall on 1st November and you can experience the sights, sounds and even smells of bygone times.

We're so excited to announce that House of Memories is on the way to Becconsall.
The ​mobile museum from National Museums Liverpool is the first-ever immersive mobile museum experience in the UK

Each session will be in groups of up to 6 people and last approximately 30 minutes.

Make a day of it with a stroll around the park and experience the WWII Air Raid Shelter, built for the Alty's workers and locals.

Places are limited so it is recommended to book in advance

Sunday 1st November, from 11am to last viewing at 3pm

Admission £5 Adult & £3 children over 5 years.

Exciting things are happening at Becconsall!

There’s lots to look forward to as we continue developing the park, bringing our new Living Museum space to life and creating even more events, activities and outdoor workshops for children and families.

But making all of this happen takes people.

We’re looking for more volunteers to be part of Becconsall’s next chapter.

Whether you’d enjoy helping at events, welcoming visitors, getting involved with the new museum, supporting children’s activities or spending time outdoors helping care for the park, there’s a role for you.

No skills or experience needed. Just a little time and a willingness to get involved can make a real difference. Whether that is an occasional 1 hour, or a regular commitment, we appreciate any help you can give.
