Our 03 D2184 is running today alongside our miniature railway.

Unlimited rides in any train! Gates open at 10:30, and the first train departs at 11.

Our onboard seats have tables and make a great picnic space.

We are setting up for Saturday 🤩

Power cars 43082 and 43073 head to Nunnery. You will have the opportunity to get a private tour and start up of one of these power cars on Saturday. Check the previous post for details!

Ride in the cab of power car 43165. Cab rides are available as an optional extra and can be purchased on the day. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Our EMR power cars will be available for private tours and start-up experiences, giving you the chance to see inside the engine room and experience an HST power car starting at close quarters.

Cab rides and power car start-ups are optional extras and carry an additional charge.

Food, drinks and snacks will be available from the onboard buffet throughout the day.

The Victoria Line on the London Underground was the world's first fully automatic railway, and we are home to the signalling system that ran it for over 4 decades.

It's open all weekend and well worth checking out.

We're open Saturday and Sunday at Colne Valley Railway this weekend. Saturday is a static attractions day with the various museum exhibits open. Sunday is a running day on both the full-sized and Miniature Railway. See you there!

This weekend at the Colne Valley Railway 🚂

Sunday 20th September is our main running day, with the Class 03 on the passenger train throughout the day.

Your ticket includes unlimited train rides, so once you’re in, you can travel as many times as you like. The miniature railway will also be running, along with the museum and other parts of the site.

We’re also open on Saturday 20th September for a static opening.

🚦The Victoria Line Automatic Train Operation panel will be open on Saturday and Sunday. See the historic signalling panel, once used at the Cobourg Street control room for almost 43 years.
