After the short summer break we can now tell you about the upcoming events that we have arranged for your enjoyment. Firstly we have our resident jazz band is back on the 12th September 2026 at 7.00 pm. They always give us an amazing evening of music, so come along and enjoy. To book tickets ring Pam on 07790 179760 and book your seats, then come along and pay for your places on the door. The bar will be fully stocked and the beer cooled, just bring some snacks to have with your drinks from the bar. I will let you know the next event which will be on the 19th September over the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled on here or on the web site.

2026 Roaming Rex Award - presented to Mason Lee for visiting ALL 53 Wheels of Time sites.

Mason started his Wheels of Time journey 6 years ago and the Medway Queen became his favourite site. So much so that both Mason and his mum Toni now volunteer at the Medway Queen in between his trips to other Kent heritage sites.

Well done Mason and thank you Toni for volunteering as a tour guide and sharing the Medway Queen story with other families on a regular basis.

Well we now have a new act on the Medway Queen. On the 6th June, we will be having Matt Brooks singing and playing his guitar for us. There will be ample free parking, disabled access, a well stocked open bar, but you can bring your own snacks or we do sell crisps and mini cheddars. If you have been to one of our events before, you will know that we always have a great time on this unique venue - the amazing Paddle Steamer, Medway Queen. We won't be going down the river, but a wonderful evening will be guaranteed. To book ring Pam on 07790 179760 or you can book through Eventbrite. Children under 16 are free when accompanied by an adult.

We had another brilliant quiz on Saturday, thankyou to Sue for arranging that for us. Now we have a real treat this coming Saturday (25th) we have the Barn Ettes. Three girls that sing beautifully and have a very large repertoire, some times even singing in uniform, and have even performed in Chatham Dockyard at the 40's weekend. Why not come along, follow the instructions on the poster, and ring me to book your seats. We look forward to seeing you. Book early as we can only seat 50 in the aft saloon.

Last weekend we had a quiz on board for the cats protection league and it was great fun and very successful. If you think that you can answer general knowledge questions, why don't you make up a team of 6 or less and come along and have a lot of fun next Saturday evening between 7.00 and 9.00 on board the moored Paddle Steamer Medway Queen at Gillingham Pier. There will be prizes for the top team and also b***y prizes for the bottom team. Just brinks your own food, drinks are very reasonable from the bar. To make sure of your table, ring Pam to book, number is on the poster. We always have fun, so come along and join in.
