Boilerhouse Gallery Contemporary art and craft gallery in the heart of Purbeck. Open Wednesday to Sunday 10am - 5pm

We are a small co-operative gallery in a workshop setting, celebrating the work of local Purbeck artists. The Gallery is easy to find opposite the Corfe Castle railway station in what was once the local milk depot. Set up and run by local artists, many of whom have their workshop or studio on site, there has been a gallery here since 2002. Work for sale includes cards, driftwood, glass, jewellery,

painting, photography, pottery, prints, sculpture, stone, textiles and wood – and most artists also work to commission. We are open though out the year on Fridays and Saturdays (and some Sundays in summer), and often run special events with a wider range of art, craft and entertainment.

The last day of Art Weeks tomorrow and so much going on at Sandy Hill Arts where the Gallery is. We're delighted to welcome back Trina with her pop-up cafe, 'Feast and Flower'. Just the best vegan food.

A fund-raising event for 2 hospices in memory of 7 women will be happening in the marquee between 12 and 3. An afternoon of music from local musicians will be happening. Excited to welcome Calista Kazuko who has travelled down specially from London to perform a Bob Dylan song. And there will be a silent art auction too.

And of course the Gallery will be open 10 - 5 with lots of artwork to take a look at. Plus lots of open studios onsite. Lots of reasons to visit.
