Boilerhouse Gallery Contemporary art and craft gallery in the heart of Purbeck. Open Wednesday to Sunday 10am - 5pm

We are a small co-operative gallery in a workshop setting, celebrating the work of local Purbeck artists. The Gallery is easy to find opposite the Corfe Castle railway station in what was once the local milk depot. Set up and run by local artists, many of whom have their workshop or studio on site, there has been a gallery here since 2002. Work for sale includes cards, driftwood, glass, jewellery,

painting, photography, pottery, prints, sculpture, stone, textiles and wood – and most artists also work to commission. We are open though out the year on Fridays and Saturdays (and some Sundays in summer), and often run special events with a wider range of art, craft and entertainment.

A few of our artists have gone to set up a pop-up gallery at the very lovely Purbeck Folk festival which opens tomorrow (we heard through the grapevine that some weekend tickets are still available). Do pop over to see us at the back of the Long Barn if you’re there. Our gallery next to Corfe Castle Station will be open as normal Wed-Sun 10-5 😊
