Don't miss your last chance to see 'Every Step of the Way' at The Novium Museum

Created as part of a collaborative project celebrating the 100-mile South Downs Way, the exhibition brings together artwork inspired by the trail.

The exhibition also features archaeological objects from The Novium Museum's collections, helping to tell the story of the South Downs through both art and heritage.

If you haven't visited yet, tomorrow (Saturday 30 May) is your final opportunity.

The Novium Museum is open from 10am - 5pm, and admission to 'Every Step of the Way' is free.

Wow, what a day we had yesterday for Roman Re-enactment Day!

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Priory Park for a day packed with live demonstrations, talks and family activities.

The sun was shining as leading re-enactment group Legio Secunda Augusta showed the crowds how Romans lived, fought and trained.

Families enjoyed sessions on the Roman military, crime and punishment, slavery and gladiator fighting, with plenty of enthusiastic young volunteers keen to take part in the interactive demonstrations.

A huge thank you to Red Fox Historical Archery, Fishbourne Roman Palace and South East Archaeology for running activities throughout the day, and to Woody's Wood-Fired Pizza, Karma Coffee and Fenwick's Café for keeping everyone fed and refreshed 🍕🥤

Roman Re-enactment Day is always one of the highlights of Chichester Roman Week, and it was brilliant to see so many people getting involved and enjoying the day. Thank you for being part of it.
