We're giving away thousands of reflective keyrings to improve safety for children walking home from school as the nights draw in.

We've teamed up with Cambridge Science Centre, and will be making the keyrings freely available to schools, clubs, sports teams and youth groups. Maximum 500 per application. Find out more below.

Did you see, hear or read the story about Cambridge Science Park over the weekend? Yes - our Cambridge home was on the BBC News website, social channels, on the radio... and even the telly!

The story was all about the incredible people who help thrive, even if they're not the traditional "scientist" you might expect!

We love stories like this, as they really show the breadth of skills and expertise needed and how ANY of the children who walk through the doors of Cambridge Science Centre could become the future innovators and leaders of science in the UK!

One of our team was even featured... Kath Austin - our Business Development Director. Kath isn't a scientist, she doesn't have a PhD, but she does represent a "different sort of highly skilled person" and is one of the inspiring people the BBC featured, as they explored the diversity of skills needed for a world-class scientific ecosystem to thrive. Following our Centre reset, we are now all set and looking forward to welcoming you back to our Cambridge home from 9am tomorrow morning! But in the meantime... a quick question:

Did you join our 'I Spy Ecology' lab this summer? 🌳🔍

◀️ If you took an ecology survey booklet home, this is a reminder to fill it in and return it! We’re building a giant ecological map of Cambridge inside the centre to track our region's amazing biodiversity - and we need your data!

Here’s what to do:

🌿 Explore: Head out into your garden, a local park, or just look outside your window.

✏️️ Record: Jot down your nature spots in the booklet.

◀️ Return: Bring or send it back to us by the 18th of October, so your findings can be added to our big map!

🌗 🌞 After having the LUNAR eclipse earlier this week and the SOLAR eclipse just before that, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate an epic couple of weeks at the end of a hot hot summer full of fun science adventures at , before the rain finally came!!
