Huge congratulations to Marcelina Amelia, who has been shortlisted for the Cass Art Prize 2026 👏

The shortlisted painting, ‘I Will Never Leave You Again’, is the original work that inspired Marcelina’s first lithograph, ‘This Time I Kept Me’, published by CCA Galleries Ltd earlier this year.

Created at The Curwen Studio the lithograph beautifully translates the emotion and atmosphere of the original painting through layers of hand-painted marks and the unique qualities of the lithographic process.

We’re incredibly proud to have released this special edition and are thrilled to see Marcelina’s original work receiving such well-deserved recognition.

At 130 × 120cm this is a huge statement piece - but a large artwork doesn’t necessarily need a huge room.⁣
⁣
Give it space on a larger wall and it can confidently hold its own, drawing the eye without overwhelming the room. Or place it on a smaller wall where the painting can fill the space, creating an immersive, mural-like effect.⁣
⁣
With its layers of colour, movement and organic forms, Anima Mundi brings an incredible energy to an interior, and as an original painting, you can see every mark, texture and gesture left by Antonia’s hand.⁣

In this new release, Maria weaves together vintage imagery, symbolic detail and her signature surreal collage style to create a work about love, compassion, curiosity and connection.⁣
⁣
Look closely and you’ll also spot a special detail inspired by Greenhills Estate itself, with Maria incorporating a photograph she took of the house into the vase at the centre of the composition.⁣
⁣
On Thursday 25 June, you’ll have the opportunity to see the work in person at our upcoming exhibition, ‘ENTER: The Long Gallery’, surrounded by the gardens and scenery that shaped this little detail.⁣
