What do you need for book repairs?
• bone folder
• small paint brush
• ramekin dish
• wheat starch paste
• Japanese tissue paper
• non-stick paper
• scrap paper
• bandages

The adhesive used to repair tears in paper and covering materials is wheat starch paste, which is a power mixed with water and heated up (then cooled).
The bandage helps hold a repair in place whilst it dries.
