mor charpentier is proud to welcome a new initiative called “Entre montajes”. This project opens the doors of our gallery in Bogotá to exciting individuals and collectives who bring fresh and innovative proposals to the city’s cultural landscape.

The upcoming edition of “Entre montajes” features the participation of the Antifashion collective: an interdisciplinary group where fashion, music, performance rebel against conventions. This collective exhibition brings together national and international talent through photography, fashion design, fashion films, and cultural talks.

This edition of “Entre montajes” opens on August 29 and runs through September 6.

Liliana Porter returns to Argentina with a major retrospective at MALBA.

Spanning from 1968 to 2025, Travesía (Journey) presents a wide selection of works that trace the evolution of the Argentine artist’s practice creating a dialogue between works from her work throughout six decades.

Curated by Agustín Pérez Rubio, the exhibition highlights Porter’s deep engagement with printmaking and themes such as representation, memory, literature, labor, gender, climate change, and the absurdity of violence.

Twelve years after her first exhibition at the Museum, Porter returns to MALBA with a body of work that is both playful and profound—layered with meaning, humor, and empathy.

Travesía will be on view until October 13

Time to say goodbye. Chen Ching–Yuan’s first exhibition in Latin America comes to an end this Thursday, August 22.

For this occasion mor charpentier brought the artist’s two latest series –Night Walking and The Square– which offer a fragmented and poetic reflection on presence, perception, memory and belonging. Together they capture a glimpse in the mixture between personal and collective memory, between desire and reality. The every day life that is suspended in day and night by tender scenes of intimacy and emotional depth.

Don’t miss your chance to see it at mor charpentier Bogotá, open from 11 am to 6pm.

Remember to visit the works of Nohemí Pérez at Kunsthaus Baselland, on view until August 17.

Through a layered interplay of drawing, painting, and embroidery, Pérez gives form to landscapes under threat: burned, deforested, and dominated, yet still filled with the quiet resistance of color and memory.

Her work highlights the urgency of rethinking our relationship to nature in an age of climate crisis, mass migration, and global upheaval. Pérez’s drawings, poetic and immersive, are not just depictions of endangered ecosystems, but acts of repair, ways to hold on to what might soon be lost.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit ‘Tides and Forests’.

After more than 30 years, Oscar Muñoz returns to MAMBO.

‘Infraleve’ is a retrospective exhibition of the Colombian artist, bringing together a selection of works from both past and present.

The term infraleve (infrathin), coined by Marcel Duchamp, refers to almost imperceptible transitions, a central quality in Muñoz’s work, which since the 1980s has explored the boundaries between presence and absence, memory and disappearance.

Curated by Eugenio Viola and Juaniko Moreno, ‘Infraleve’ features nearly 30 pieces, spanning a significant portion of the artist’s career, including new works created specifically for this occasion.

The exhibition will be on view until October 5.

We are pleased to announce that Guadalupe Maravilla and Charwei Tsai are part of Corps à cordes : Vibrations et résonances on view at Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis until January 4, 2026.

The exhibition explores connections between Sufi thought and contemporary art through echoes, vibrations, and shared energies. At its center is the setâr, a delicate lute symbolizing inner refinement, which serves as a metaphor for a vibrant heart linking sky and earth, inviting a deep, emotional attunement to care, memory, and ancestral, ecological, or invisible transmissions.

The works on display unfold at the intersection of art, healing, spirituality, and sound-based thought, proposing a form of listening that transcends the audible. These elements of the rhythms of the river and the symbolic lines of the garden invite a refinement of perception, an embodied, situated, and active form of listening to the world.

Corps à cordes : Vibrations et résonances is curated by Elena Sorokina and Simona Dvorak.
