I painted an original watercolor!
I’ve been painting a lot with watercolors this year, but they’re mostly for the insets of the Photo Albums. It’s something I love d**g but painting something that will end up at someone’s wall is... cool, right?

This was made to complement the Photo Album I made for baby Mia (see 2 previous posts), incorporating some of Mia’s mother favourite elements: cheries and swans.

I love the texture of the cotton paper and how it turned out slightly crooked like in the end! In the age of Ai, texture is simply luxurious!

As usual, with the leftover of the watercolor painted paper, I made the gift tag. I just love those small details!

Maria Luísa is a super joyful and energetic girl. That was basically the briefing for this Photo Album! 😊

I had all these new fabrics from ILOVEKUTCHI SHOP! ® that I was so excited to use and this was the perfect occasion!
Then I free-styled the graphic elements that turned out to be a bit Memphis style.

I would love to show the embroidery process but honestly I was just watching a movie while doing it! 😅
This is a Photo Album, model B (18x25cm), with 152 transparent pockets for photos 10x15 size.

It’s super practical for someone that doesn’t have the time (or patience) to assemble a Photo Album with paper pages.

Last weekend was the end of Pride week in Denmark, with its highest point being the Pride parade in Copenhagen. Between 250.000 and 300.000 people are estimated to have participated and cheered the parade this year. It’s really wonderful to see people of all ages and backgrounds simply celebrating diversity, love and life in general!

This reminded me that a while ago I made this Photo Album as a wedding gift, that I never got to share here.

This Photo Album was gifted with a set colorful cards, so that the guests could write their messages for the couple, that were later on placed in the album, together with the most special photos of the day.

I love drawing and then embroidering all the names, but some turn out just beautiful!

For this Photo Album, it was obvious that the pattern of the fabric and the hand embroidered name was the perfect combination, no extra details were needed!

Annie & Bill - 11.04.2026

A Photo Album that flew to Australia containing the most special photos of their big day.

It was hard work, but I enjoyed so much the process of drawing and painting the watercolor (besides making the Photo Album, of course!).
The watercolor was inspired by the venue’s tablecloths and the flowers from the invitations and place cards. Even the texture of the paper has the right amount of rustic style to match the whole vibe of the wedding.

This was another Photo Album done as a collaboration with Andrew Tallon Weddings on Film by Andrew Tallon

Andrew only photographs in analogue film and it couldn’t be a better fit for Annie & Bill’s wedding.

This is a very short version of all the work that goes into creating a Wedding Photo Album!

I’m usually pretty happy with the end result of all the Albums but this one is definitely on the top 5!

Now that it arrived safe and sound in Australia and is in the hands of Annie & Bill, I can show the custom watercolor painting that was inspired by the wedding table cloths and flowers!

And let’s not forget the amazing analogue photos taken by Andrew Tallon , the Wedding Photographer.
