OPENING THIS THURSDAY: METTE WINCKELMANN, SLIP

We’re thrilled to share glimpses from Mette Winckelmann’s solo exhibition ‘SLIP’, opening this Thursday, April 30, from 5–8 PM.

In the exhibition SLIP, Mette Winckelmann presents a series of new paintings and textile works. Paint, fabric, and composition merge in an exploration of the material’s meaning, history, and potential. The exhibition revolves around a movement — a “slip” — that points to letting go, losing control, and allowing something to slide, both mentally and physically, as well as to the intimate and body-near aspects of materiality.

At the opening, we will be serving free drinks and beer – everyone is welcome!

Please send us a DM or email [email protected] to receive the preview list.

MARKET ART FAIR 2026

At the fair, we are presenting powerful, singular works by Danish artists Hannah Heilmann and Jytte Rex.

Being from two different generations of feminist artists, Rex and Heilmann share a fundamental understanding that the private is political. Their works reveal a conceptual kinship - with collages of intimate everyday images and objects. Heilmann’s fast two-minute expressionism hits hard with dirty contact lenses, bread tags, and staples on top of poetic stick-figure paintings on wood. On aluminium plates, Rex prints avant-garde sensuous images of female bodies and human imprints. Motifs that span across generations, places, and times.

It’s such a pleasure to be back at the 🩷 Stop by Booth 30, where the duo presentation is exhibited alongside exclusive works by Sophie Calle (FR) and Inuuteq Storch (GL).
