Men and Women ~ Tamara Kvesitadze

With Men and Women, Georgian artist captures a moment of encounter two figures moving toward each other, passing through one another, suspended between closeness and distance.

While widely known for her monumental kinetic sculptures installed in public spaces, this more intimate version brings the same emotional charge into a smaller scale. The work retains its quiet power: a choreography of movement that speaks about connection, separation, and the fragile space where two lives briefly intersect.

Men and Women invites reflection, reminding us that even the smallest gesture can carry a profound story.

Fritz Bornstück .Studio Visit.

In this conversation, Fritz Bornstück opens the door to his imaginative world, where painting and sculpture grow from the same source. His oil paintings and ceramic objects focus on the small, often overlooked remnants of everyday life furniture, vessels, fragments of once cutting-edge technology, reappearing as poetic still lifes infused with quiet melancholy and subtle humor.

Rather than monumental ruins, his work attends to the scrap of civilization slowly reclaimed by nature, animated by tiny forms of life. Sculpture becomes an extension of painting, allowing these worlds of color, memory, and form to step fully into a thoughtful universe where the weight of time finds a new lightness.

DOPPELSPIEL at 69salon by KORNFELD

A look back at the opening of Doppelspiel, where the works of Franziska Klotz and Fritz Bornstück met for the first time in an intimate dialogue of forms, moods, and materials.

The evening brought together many friends and visitors and the Herzbaum stood quietly among them, carrying small artworks and editions that completed the atmosphere of this winter salon.
