Culture Days is an opportunity to celebrate cultural expression and creativity in our lives as artists, audience, patrons, and participants.

This year Culture Days is embracing a multi-week celebration from September 18th - October 4th/2026 Culture Days Manitoba is a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. Every year on the last weekend of September, Culture Days features thousands of free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate “behind-the-scenes,” to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, designers and other creative people in their communities. La Fête de la culture est un mouvement bénévole pancanadien axé sur la collaboration dont le but est defavoriser la sensibilisation, l'accessibilité, la participation et l'engagement de tous les Canadiens à la vieartistique et culturelle de leurs communautés. Chaque année, pendant la dernière fin de semaine du mois de Septembre, la Fête de la culture mettra en lumière des milliers d’activités gratuites, pratiques et interactives qui invitent le public à venir « dans les coulisses » découvrir le monde des artistes, créateurs, historiens, architectes, conservateurs de musée, concepteurs et autres artisans dans leur communauté.

🎨 Culture Days & Nuit Blanche Gimli | Sept 25-27

Experience three days of free, family-friendly arts and culture in beautiful downtown Gimli! Explore art, music, film, performances, hands-on activities, installations, and creative surprises, all within walking distance along the lakeshore.

✨ Friday: Kick off the weekend at the Lakeview Resort with fine art, live music, and stunning lake views.

🌙 Saturday: Enjoy a full day of arts experiences before Gimli comes alive after dark for Nuit Blanche, featuring music, performances, interactive art, and a magical evening of discovery.

🎭 Sunday: Wrap up the weekend with more family-friendly fun, creative activities, and face painting for all ages.
Look for the VENUE signs, wander at your own pace, and discover Gimli through art and creativity. Free parking available throughout town.

🚨 New Hub Alert: Red River Paddle Challenge! 🚨
Join us at Culture Days as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the legendary Les Voyageurs Canoe Race, a Manitoba paddling tradition that began in 1926 and continues to inspire adventurers today. 🛶✨

This special centennial year will feature: 🎉 A historic celebration at The Forks Historic Port
🎭 Historical re-enactments and exhibits
🏅 Exclusive centennial swag
🚣 Opportunities to take part in both the Red River Paddle Challenge and the epic Les Voyageurs Challenge
