Located in the heart of The Forks, we are honored to host a day dedicated to the vibrant cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Enjoy a full day of programming from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, including:
🥁 Drumming with Barb Nepinak and The Summer Bear Dance Troupe
📖 Storytelling & songs with Niigaanwewidam Sinclair
⛺ Storytelling & teepee building (at 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM)
🎨 Indigenous-inspired colouring activities
📚 Winnipeg Public Library spotlight on Indigenous authors
🫓 Bannock and treats available for purchase at Kookum’s Pantry
