No Pride In Genocide, is a global, decentralized and annual screening event that takes place in June and is curated by Q***r Cinema for Palestine, an organization which started as a film festival, offering artists and arts groups around the world a vibrant space to stand together, using art to oppose the ongoing violence of Israeli occupation and apartheid against Indigenous Palestinians.
Qu**rs 4 Palestine YQG is a newly formed grassroots organization that mobilizes against instances of pinkwashing in the Windsor-Essex (Waawiiataanong) region. Our direct action and educational initiatives include but are not limited to: protests, panels, film screenings/art exhibitions and workshops.
We are also committed to the BDS campaign against Israel - The official Boycott Divestment and Sanctions website defines pinkwashing as: “an Israeli government propaganda strategy that cynically exploits LGBTQIA+ rights to project a progressive image while concealing Israel's occupation and apartheid policies oppressing Palestinians."
