Michelle Taylor has many artistic talents. We are lucky enough to represent two of her passions, here at the gallery: lampwork glass jewelry, and high realism painting!

Michelle has been focusing on very challenging subject matter for her artwork, getting textures ‘just right’ so the viewer feels like they can reach out and touch the real thing!

Her lampwork creations are funky and fun. We have recently added to our extensive bird collection with incredible little grey owl pendants (swipe to see!) the bats were made after a commission request, and we just couldn’t resist but to add them to the roster.

If you’re heading to Art in the Park this year, you can count on a Michelle to be there!!!

This collection was completed for a long-time client and friend, Brendan! He has the best sense of humour and a wonderful love for movies and vintage fun. These colourful metal frames from have been a popular choice at the gallery since day one, almost 20 years ago!!!

70 local artists have already signed up for the , coming this September! If you love working on wood panels and haven’t picked one up yet, we only have 12 left for the season and one of them has your name on it!

Since canvases are built in-house, those will be offered for a longer period of time.

Have you worked on wood panel yet?! It’s so different from canvas and has some incredible qualities! Collage work, carving, using the wood grain as part of the art, and clear gesso are all fun things to experiment with on the sturdy surface of a wood panel.
