🚨Coming this Fall 2026! 🚨
The SHM is thrilled to announce preparations for a new exhibit coming this fall that will preserve and celebrate the cultural memory of Serbian immigrants in Windsor and the surrounding region.
This exhibit, conceptualized by Dr. Roy Diklich, will document family origins, migration journeys, and cultural traditions; trace routes from Balkan villages to Windsor; and create a publicly accessible digital archive for genealogy and historical research.
The project is guided by a Steering Committee: Dr. Roy Diklich, Mara Celic – SHM President,
Nikola Gacesa, George Velickovic, Milka Skara and Ilija Maodus.
The exhibit will explore several migration eras starting from 1900 through to the present.
