I’ve been leading a group of sensational visual artists in a series of workshops on how to develop papercut abstract collages into fully fleshed out paintings here in Gibsons BC overlooking the pristine Georgia Straight during the dog days of our remarkable summer of 2026.
Thank you to the Gibsons School of the Arts Gibson’s School of the Arts and my students for treating me so well.
And I will be giving an Artist Talk on Friday Aug 28 @ 4 PM Gibsons Public Art Gallery .

sometimes if you stay a little too long at the beach and after it empties, as the sky turns a velvet indigo, slowly, ever so slowly the creatures of the night begin to stir. stars poke up over the scent of sun-baked skin and dried seaweed and forms writhing, squirm and whispering settle into familiar ancient dances.
