We are happy to announce that the East Coulee School Museum has successfully achieved Recognized Museum status for 2026–2031 through the Alberta Museums Association. This accreditation is an important milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining best-practice standards.
We also celebrate the fact that our friends and sister site, the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site, have also achieved Recognized Museum status for 2026–2031! Both our independent museums in East Coulee have been recognized for their contributions to preserving and sharing the region’s heritage – it is a great

What a fantastic evening!! The Highland Gala is over. . . For this year.
Thank you!! To Morrissey's Private Stock for your lively Celtic, Eastern Music, and for being great people! Thank you to Shelley and her team from the Grazing Board for the fantastic roast beef dinner, complete with a wonderful strawberry/spinach salad!!
A Giant Thank you to the 60 + individuals and local businesses who generously donated for our silent auction!! You know who you are, I can not begin to tell how much you are appreciated! A big thank you to Barb and the Board for their hard work, helping to put this event on!!
