DID YOU KNOW?

🏦The Hoodoos are formed through a combination of weathering and erosion, primarily driven by water and ice. They begin with a layer of soft rock capped by a layer of harder, more erosion-resistant rock. Over time, cracks in the harder layer allow water to seep into the soft rock below. This water expands when it freezes (frost wedging), widening the cracks and breaking down the softer rock. Eventually, the softer rock erodes, leaving behind the distinctive columns topped with the harder caprock
