After September 6, the museum will close to visitors as we begin preparing the collection for its next chapter with the County of Lambton.

But the store isn’t hibernating just yet!

The museum store will remain open for shopping after the exhibits close -- with 25% off everything as an added bonus! 💃 🛍️

📅 The museum's final day of operation is September 6, 2026.

After decades of inspiring curiosity and wonder, Stones 'N Bones Museum is preparing for its next era. 💅🌟

The museum collection has been donated to Lambton County, where it will be cared for and managed until its new home is ready.
Before then, you still have one last chance to experience the collection exactly as it is today.

Come visit us:
🗓️ Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
⏰11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(last admission at 4:00 p.m.)

🛍️Our gift shop will remain open throughout September, so there's still time to pick up a keepsake after the museum closes.

We are happy to finally share that Stones 'N Bones Museum will be entering its next life stage.

Thank you, Sarnia (and visitors from around the world) for so many years of memories, discoveries, and adventures.

We've loved being part of your story and helping uncover the stories of the world around us.

As the museum evolves, we hope its next chapter continues to inspire curiosity, spark discovery, and remind us that wonder never goes extinct. 🦕🦋🌎
