Did you know that Lieutenant Governor Amédée Forget had a pet parrot named Coquette during his time in office? 🦜

🐒 Coquette was known to speak entirely in French and had wonderful adventures with Forget’s pet monkey, Jocko!

Participate in a relaxing session of yoga on the historic lawn of Government House this weekend with Yoga in the Gardens! 🧘

🗓️ Sunday, August 23
🕰️ 9-10 a.m.
📍 Located on the north lawn at Government House

✅ This is a free drop-in session. No fee or registration required.

Your session will be led by yoga instructor Fran Switzer.

🧘 You just need to bring your yoga mat, a water bottle, bug spray and your best attitude.

All ages and yoga abilities are welcome for this experience.
