The Oshawa Museum (OM) preserves and promotes awareness and appreciation of Oshawa’s history for the education, enrichment and enjoyment of a diverse audience. As the only community museum in Oshawa we take great pride in showcasing the history of our city from the earliest First Nation occupation to the end of WWII. The OM is administered by the Oshawa Historical Society, a not for profit charitable institution, as an external agency of the City of Oshawa. We work in partnership with many community cultural organizations including Heritage Oshawa which is the Municipal Heritage Committee, comprised of Council appointed volunteers. Heritage Oshawa advises City Council on properties of cultural heritage value which are worthy of designation.

Happy Sunday! Today, the Oshawa Museum is OPEN from 12–4 PM.

Please note, tours on Sunday may not include Henry House as we get the house ready for exhibition after this week's private booking. Tours of Robinson House include the exhibits: So Fetch!, A Walk in the Park, Miijim, and A Carrying Place.

The pathways around the Oshawa Museum will also be unpaved.

All of this is so you are best prepared for your visit to the Home of Oshawa's History.
