Art,Culture and Culinary Tours to Italy returns to Tuscany this November. Our home base is Florence, but day trips to Rome, Bologna, Fiesole, Lucca and Montespertoli are options). I’ll be your daily personal tour guide to art shows/galleries, local events like figure drawing, iconic historic sites , art stores/shopping, markets and culinary adventures. I’ll also be your instructor to paint in watercolor on location in the streets of Florence ( weather permitting), and we’ll also take two other art workshops with local artists/artisans which may include Florentine paper marbling, jewelry making, ceramics and mixed media. This is a very special boutique/curated small group experience the average visitor to Tuscany never experiences because I have lived and studied art in Florence and my artist friends/colleagues will be your Italian instructors. This is the land of my ancestors, and my true home. Accommodation can be included or you can arrange your own ( flights /ground transportation /meals are not included ). Your itinerary is completely worry-free, all you have to decide is what w**e you’re having with dinner or what flavour of gelato you want! Flexible stays of 7 to 12 days.
Free Information Seminar on Sat.Sept.26 at 1:00 pm. Please register by email at [email protected]

Art, Culture and Culinary Tours to Italy, presents a NEW experience. Join me in Florence and Rome during the late Fall/early winter season when the heat & crowds have left and what remains is a little closer to daily Italian life. See Italy through an Artist’s eyes, learn the culture/customs and art history as we wander through galleries, gardens, museums, studios, cafes, artisan shops, authentic restaurants , and so much more. This is a small group, boutique experience and I’ll be your private tour guide and arrange all the details - all you have to decide is what w**e you’ll be having.
I will teach urban sketching and watercolor to you on location, we’ll take a Paper Marbling class from a Florentine artist.
I’ll introduce you to local colleagues and friends and take you to the market and places I frequented daily when I lived there. My ancestors have called Italy home and I have deep roots there. We might also take some day trips to places like Sienna, Lucca, San Gimignano or Bologna.
Slow down, come immerse yourself in the wonder and beauty of all that is the centre of the Renaissance.
Participants book their own flights, travel insurance and choose accommodation based on their needs/budget from my approved list. Ground travel and meals are not included.
