White Cat Pottery: Louise partakes in various creative endeavours including knitting, photography, graphic art and pottery. Her work includes exploration of surface decoration and patterns, creating a sense of hygge to her pieces. Her sweary dinosaurs are a huge hit, as well as the mid-century flowers that have taken centrestage in her work.
Chloe is our current artist in residence. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, now living on Gabriola Island, Chloe's work focused on developing and refining a cohesive body of work. During her residency, she continued to investigate the expressive potential of sculpted hands alongside her exploration of working with slips and carving designs.
Amélie is a Nanaimo-based mixed media artist and Registered Canadian Art Therapist. Her work is rooted in the belief that creativity and beauty belong in everyday life. Through handmade pottery and sculpture inspired by the natural world, she creates pieces that invite connection, presence and a sense of wonder.
Kira of KTX Pots is a Vancouver Island artist with a love for creating functional and beautiful pieces. I was drawn to pottery as part of a journey to get out of my head and into my body. You will see spiral themes, thoughts of the moon, dreams of the sea, and a sense of blooming in my current collection.
