CANADIAN TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM & HERITAGE VILLAGE

Welcome to the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village (CTMHV). We are situated on a 100 acre site housing one of the largest transportation museums in Ontario, a Heritage Village with over 20 buildings dating from 1700s-1920s, the only Ambulance museum in Canada, and a 50s themed diner. We offer rental facilities for all sorts of occasions including weddings and we host many fundraising shows and events throughout the year which are open to the public. As a registered charity and not-for-profit organization, our dedicated volunteers, members and staff continually support the organization’s development and growth as a valued community hub and keeper of historical treasures of Canada South.

We need your help! We have in our collection several quilts with embroidered images of local landmarks. We have been able to identify most of them, but we are having difficulty identifying some of them. Based on the locations of other buildings we have been able to identify, we think they are most likely in Windsor, but could potentially be in the County.

Does anyone recognize these buildings?

Any help is much appreciated

Our museum and diner will be closed on Sunday, October 11th 2026, for Thanksgiving.
