A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Chances Gaming Lounge in Leamington for continuing to support the Kingsville Military Museum. 🇨🇦

It’s the support of local businesses and members of our community that helps keep our museum going and allows us to continue preserving the stories and history of those who served.

We truly appreciate you standing behind the museum and supporting what we do right here in our community.

Remembering Dieppe — 19 August 1942 🇨🇦

Today, the Kingsville Military Museum remembers the Canadians who took part in the Dieppe Raid on 19 August 1942.

More than 6,000 Allied troops landed at Dieppe, with the vast majority Canadian. The raid was a devastating battle, with heavy casualties and many men taken prisoner.

We remember their courage, sacrifice and service — and honour the lasting legacy of those who fought at Dieppe.

Lest We Forget. 🇨🇦🌺
