Remembering Dieppe — 19 August 1942 🇨🇦

Today, the Kingsville Military Museum remembers the Canadians who took part in the Dieppe Raid on 19 August 1942.

More than 6,000 Allied troops landed at Dieppe, with the vast majority Canadian. The raid was a devastating battle, with heavy casualties and many men taken prisoner.

We remember their courage, sacrifice and service — and honour the lasting legacy of those who fought at Dieppe.
