Fun fact….
This piece of music is titled “Schlabb’s Last Stand”, and is associated with the character “Roots” (who is inspired by my late dog Max Schlabb). This song is sung in a language I created for this story…the ancient language of Aeolah’n-Kah, the mother-tongue of the MoonDog’s of Aeolah. This piece is entirely written in A Harmonic Minor.

Translation…

Fun Fact #2…

The explosion sound heard at the beginning of this section was created with two sounds that Max loved…we used found sounds of my vacuum and my popcorn maker, combined with good old mouth-explosion sounds.

Fun Fact #3…

When the acoustic guitar starts after the explosion, we used a sample of Max’s actual heart beat to keep the rhythm…and his barks can be heard later in the song…

In regard to Justin Latam and the STRIDE’s album release shows this weekend at The Bank Theatre - l will have a merchandise table with prints of my illustrations for sale before and after the concert! We should also be able to get some band signatures on them, a special treat! 🤩🎸🐶🎨🎶

Hey everyone! A project I’ve been collaborating on for about 2 years now is finally coming to fruition! Get your tickets for one of Justin Latam and THE STRIDE’s album release shows this weekend at The Bank Theatre - a psychedelic flow of my art will be featured during the band’s entire performance, illustrating the scenes as the music, lyrics, voiceovers and actors tell this dystopian sci-fi adventure story! It’s a fun and family-friendly event! Tickets are available at the The Bank Theatre’s page and website, or buy them at the door if they’re still available!
