We had our first frost this morning, tiny little glitters on roof tops and in north facing corners. I went for an early walk and quickly regretted not wearing any gloves. The sun is out this afternoon and I hope some of my fall garden plants are tough enough to handle the cold. The poppy seed pods and lady’s mantle are from warmer days.

I am very excited to be featuring the works of printmaker Anne Jones on the walls of my little gallery.

I fell in love with Anne’s prints inspired by Welsh mythology and am simply delighted to be able to share her works with visitors to my studio.

This collection of prints is abstract, bold, mysterious, and very inspiring and it has already left me with seeds for future projects.

Do stop by for a visit. Anne (Anne Jones) and I will look forward to seeing you

Anne Jones, artist and printmaker extraordinaire, joins me for the Cowichan Artisans Fall Studio Tour this October. I am thrilled to have Anne's handmade prints gracing the walls of my little gallery.

This series of prints is inspired by Welsh mythology. Anne's works are abstract, bold, mysterious, exciting and, above all, very inspiring leaving seeds with me for future clay pieces.

If you aren't able to come visit during the tour I invite you to come out this Sunday, October 4 to see what Anne and I have been up to.
