Rainforest Arts Rainforest Arts operates under the umbrella of the Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society.

Rainforest Arts is a non profit gallery run by volunteers of Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society. Our mission is to showcase and support Island Artists and to promote excellence and creativity in all forms of visual arts. Artists from Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands are invited to apply to show their work. The Gallery is generously supported by the Coastal Community Credit Union.

Writers and Poets are invited to join Visual Artists in a collaborative show at https://cvcas.ca/convergence-2027 Participants' words will be on the wall with the art at Chemainus's Rainforest Arts gallery. They'll be invited to a celebration reading, and plans are being made to produce a booklet that will put images + words together (participants will receive a free copy and will be able to order additional copies).

Due to unforeseen circumstances Rainforest Arts is closing this show on Saturday, September 5th, rather than our planned September 12. Stop by Tuesday to Saturday 11-4pm. New art by our talented local artists will grace the walls beginning September 8th.
