Working hard, but totally distracted by my new 🐓, towards Kitty Coleman on Labour Day weekend. I love this market. It feels like a beautiful wrap up to the summer. I love the water colour feel to the glazing on this berry bowl, lots of fruit fly traps in the works, full kilns, I’m enjoying this green glaze combo over the carving.

Hi friends
I know I haven’t been very present on social media lately. This is what I have been up to. Searching for horses, reading about horses, spending time with horses, meeting horses, being disappointed about horses, being hopeful again about horses…. And now I have found my new bff and she’s here šŸ˜ Now I can get back to potting. Oh, wait, now I must snuggle my horse, feed my horse, clean up after my horse…. Hmmm šŸ¤” I’ll figure it out and carve out some time to work too 😁

I have a couple more of these unique garlic keepers in the works. I love this size/shape for not taking up so much counter space. I like a big garlic keeper that holds large, home grown (or farmer’s market bought) heads.

Every time I walk into the doors at The Potters Place in Courtenay I am amazed and honoured to be amongst such talented potters and incredible human beings. It is such a treasure in the Comox Valley. I have been shopping here since 1995 and a member since 2018 (I think). There are still two original members who had a vision 34 years ago and their legacy lives on. I love this shop with its big windows and creaky fir floors and plethora of potters. Today, as I take my turn running the store, I am full of gratitude that this is a big part of my life.
I’ve done a little re-stock and have the doors open. Pop by if you’re downtown.
We’re now open Mondays for the summer M-S 10-4

If you’re looking for some of my work, but aren’t able to get into Courtenay, I’ve done a re-stock at and at in time for the weekend. Both of these little gift shops make my heart sing. Both are run by amazing business women. I’m proud to have work in these spots.
Thanking you all for your support lately 😊😊

Sometimes an artist holds a piece back. Will I keep it? Will I gift it? Will I sell it? I just don’t know, but it’s a special piece. I will bring it to Kitty Coleman on Monday because I’ve decided to sell it. I can’t believe I sold out of 27 fruit fly traps!! But here’s one more.
So much appreciation for all your support of my little niche market šŸ’š
