For those that went to the gallery yesterday and we were closed, my apologies for not making a post sooner. Unfortunately, we are closed again today, but we'll be open again Saturday!

We've had some sleepless nights and stressful days, but he is recovering and hoping for good news from our trusted vet team Blue Mountain Vet Services on Monday.

You can shop online to help support Matilda, our artists and these vet bills! Or come visit in person over the weekend. Our Stratford Matilda is open - also with tons a beautiful art waiting for their new homes. We have lots of gorgeous new arrivals in both locations that we'll be sharing with you soon. Staying on top of socials, when galleries and life is busy, isn't something I have mastered (but I will be working on that!)

A big THANK YOU to Bay VETS Urgent Care Collingwood in Collingwood for taking sure great care of ViValdi and a speedy diagnosis to get him the care he needs.

🌟The Stratford Artists Takeover Show 4.0! 🌟

🎉 On June 5th, Matilda Gallery & Art Bar will once again be transformed into a celebration of Stratford’s creative community, featuring works by more than 50 Stratford artists in the second largest SAT exhibition since the very first takeover.

🥂 We're also celebrating THREE YEARS of Matilda Gallery & Art Bar that night! Expect special birthday art deals and an endless amount of colour!

🎨 PLUS: Be among the first to experience the second installment to Adam VanderHeide's "Art Warriors Save Stratford". An abstract fantasy-inspired body of work rooted in comic book imagery and contemporary conversations surrounding creativity and AI. Created through layered mixed media on hand-prepared wood panels, the series imagines Stratford as the setting for a battle between artistic expression and invading AI forces, celebrating the enduring importance of the creative process and the artist’s hand.
