The energy at Mountainside Gallery last week was something special. Palette of Hope brought our community together, filled the room with beautiful art, and raised $11,415 for Tomorrow's Hospital. A heartfelt thank you to the organizers who made this sold out evening happen and to every donor and supporter who was part of it. This is what generosity looks like, and we are so grateful.

Thank you Town of Collingwood!!

Town Introduces Temporary Free Three-Hour Parking on Hurontario Street to Support Downtown Businesses

We are pleased to announce that Collingwood Council has approved a temporary free parking initiative to support our downtown businesses during the Sixth Street Reconstruction Project while the required work is completed on Hurontario Street between Hume Street and Sixth Street.

Effective immediately, we are offering free three-hour parking on Hurontario Street until June 30, 2026. This measure is designed to make it easier for residents and visitors to access our downtown core during construction. Paid parking is still in effect in municipal lots and on side streets with parking meters.

We recognize that infrastructure projects can create temporary challenges, and we are committed to helping our local businesses continue to thrive during this period. By providing convenient, no-cost parking, we aim to encourage everyone to continue enjoying all that downtown Collingwood has to offer.

We invite you to:
- Shop local at our unique downtown retailers
- Dine downtown at your favorite restaurants
- Visit local businesses and services
- Experience our vibrant, walkable downtown

The Sixth Street Reconstruction Project represents an important investment in our community’s future, strengthening the infrastructure that supports our growing town. At the same time, we remain focused on minimizing impacts to businesses and ensuring our downtown remains accessible and welcoming.

We thank our businesses, residents, and visitors for your continued patience and support as we carry out this important work.
