🎄 Spread some holiday spirit with us at the Centre during the annual Festive Wreath Contest and Exhibition, organized by the Friends of Confederation Centre of the Arts.

All are welcome to participate—adults, youth, youth groups, businesses, and other groups. Wreaths will be displayed through December.

Fee: $5 per entry
Prize winners will be announced in December.

We recently announced a Channelling ArtTalk—unfortunately that event has been postponed indefinitely due to scheduling conflicts.
Curated by Pan Wendt, CHANNELLING is a collection exhibition exploring nature and the industrial age's relationship to the ways humans have co-opted that nature.

The dead internet theory proposes that the internet—once a cornerstone of human connection, supplanting the town square, secret meeting spots, back alleys, and bars—is now void of life. Gone is the space for unfiltered dialogue and the collective voices of the masses, replaced by the white noise of bots and AI-generated content. At the height of the digital age, the forefront of the AI revolution, and in the depths of fake news awareness, today this theory feels more incisive than ever. Spearheaded by tech oligarchs with more unelected power than any humans in history, the long funeral for the internet has begun.
