Our annual fundraiser for the museum is this Sunday, September 13th!

"Airport Day" is your last chance to see our Sopwith, meet the Fokkers, and tour our artefact museum before we close for the season!
The event runs from 10:00 to 4:00, with last entry at 3:15. Weather permitting, we'll take to the air in our replica World War One aircraft every hour from 11:00 to 3:00.

Other fun stuff:

- see a Sopwith Camel that is currently under construction
- meet our pilots
- World War One re-enactors
- join the museum as an Associate member and go for a flight in our Sopwith 1½ Strutter (time and weather permitting)
- books, scale models, and aviation gifts
- flight simulator
- Aspiring pilots aged 3-6 can take flight in our kiddie ride for a toonie

We got our flying in early today! A new member of the museum went for a flight in the observer’s seat of our Sopwith 1½ Strutter.

No, the Shuttleworth Collection hasn’t hopped on the renaming-things bandwagon. We’re still the Great War Flying Museum....

No, the Shuttleworth Collection hasn’t hopped on the renaming-things bandwagon. We’re still the Great War Flying Museum. Two of their group visited us last week, and got to see our replica Fokker D.VII (Dr.I shown) take to the sky over Brampton Caledon Airport.
