Meet resident artist and instructor Sheri Tenaglia!

With more than 34 years of teaching experience, Sheri offers ongoing art classes for adults and teens (ages 15+) right from her top-floor studio in the Yellow Building at Williams Mill.

Her classes welcome everyone, from total beginners to advanced students, and cover fundamental drawing techniques and a wide range of media, including graphite, conté, soft pastel, pan pastel, watercolour, and acrylic.

Looking ahead to post-secondary studies? Sheri also provides specialised portfolio development instruction to help secondary students prepare competitive, presentation-ready portfolios for university and college programs in fine arts, architecture, landscape architecture, and industrial design.

Beyond teaching, Sheri is an accomplished pastel and mixed-media artist, commercial illustrator, and longtime member of our local arts community.

Step inside Main Street Studios to discover the expressive ceramic sculptures of resident artist Zsuzsa Monostory.

Originally trained as a biologist in Hungary, Zsuzsa discovered clay after moving to Canada in 1989 and never looked back. Today, her work focuses on character-rich sculptural forms that explore nature, human relationships, and the bond between people and their surroundings.

Many of Zsuzsa’s distinct figures and textured vessels are Raku fired—a dynamic, hands-on firing process that gives each piece its distinct crackle, smoky depth, and organic finish.

We are excited to introduce the newest artist to join the Williams Mill community: ceramicist Natasha Dahl!

Working under her brand NatAura Pottery, Natasha specialises in functional wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery, formulating her own custom clay bodies, botanical motifs, and striking crystalline glazes. Her award-winning work has been featured locally at the Georgetown Farmers Market and the Helson Gallery.

Natasha is setting up her working space in Studio 6, located just off our small courtyard. Be sure to pop in, meet Natasha, and take a look inside her new studio!

Celebrate the Autumn Equinox at the Mill as part of Halton Hills Culture Days!

Join resident artist Pauline Gladstone on Tuesday, September 22, from 7:15 PM to 7:45 PM for a hands-on paper lantern painting workshop. Create your own illuminated lantern to take home, or carry it along on the guided Autumn Equinox heritage walk through the hamlet with Mark Rowe immediately following the session.

An interesting look at alternative photography here at the Williams Mill.

Melissa Kristensen-Smith created "Winter Walk" just in time for World Cyanotype Day later this month. Cyanotype is a traditional camera-less photographic printing process that produces rich Prussian blue tones, perfectly suited to the texture of an Ontario winter.

Visit Melissa at the Mill to explore more of her prints and original work.
