A new collection of Mary Philpott’s enigmatic animal sculptures are unveiled now at GFC!

Visit Mill Street in Almonte to view these charismatic ceramic works by an artist of rare talent. Mary’s ability to finesse figures from wet clay comes after many years of careful wildlife observation and technical experimentation. Her works have real presence and familiarity for Canadians who appreciate their natural world.

New arrivals ar GFC: ceramic collaborations by Bruce Cochrane and Zsuzsa Monostory!
Bruce throws and alters the box and vase forms. Zsuzsa models and attaches the animal elements. Together they make beautiful pieces which are functional and sculptural.
All are made with stoneware clay, glazed and wood-fired.
