The Local Project

Freshwater Residence by Naz Design Naz Design

This coastal home in Sydney’s sought-after Freshwater elegantly balances modern functionality with timeless natural design, capturing spectacular ocean views while offering the comfort and ease of relaxed family living.
Featuring artworks by Olivier Rasir, Bronwyn Woodley Graham and Leanne Thomas

“The home’s ocean views and proximity to Curl Curl Beach were our primary inspiration. Rather than leaning into a predictable coastal aesthetic, we aimed to create a refined, modern residence that feels deeply connected to its environment,” says Naz Erani of Naz Design

Exhibition WILD CARD

Art2Muse Gallery 5 – 18 May 2026
Meet the Artist 1pm – 3pm Saturday 9 May 2026

The collection WILD CARD’s central subject – women, their confidence, their contradictions – is one Watts returns to with genuine, playful curiosity.

“The new collection explores a modern immortalisation of women,” he says. “How has our depiction of women shaped over time? I want to immortalise my perception, which is that they are multifaceted – there are parts they embrace and others that live just below the surface.”

“The work is loud on purpose. Bold colour, sharp energy. There’s a spark in the eyes that says not everything’s being given away.” Chris Watts
